Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ASKA Academy (the "Platform"), including our website, learning dashboard, live classes, and community channels.

By creating an account, enrolling in a cohort, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and by our privacy practices. If you do not agree, please do not create an account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for everything that happens under your account.

• Keep your password confidential and do not share your account with anyone else.
• Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
• Accounts registered with false details, or used to impersonate someone, may be suspended.
• One person, one account — cohort access and certificates are issued to a named individual.

Trainings run as cohorts with published start dates, schedules, and fees. Enrolment is confirmed only once payment for the cohort has been received and your admission is marked as enrolled.

Cohort schedules, trainers, and session times may change. We will give you as much notice as we reasonably can, and recordings remain available where a session is recorded.

• Places in a cohort are limited and allocated in the order enrolments are confirmed.
• We may reschedule or cancel a cohort that does not reach a viable number of students. If we cancel, you may move to another cohort or receive a full refund.
• Access to a cohort's community channels and materials is tied to your enrolment in that cohort.

Fees for each cohort are shown before you enrol and are payable in the currency displayed. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and their own terms apply to the transaction itself.

Where a discounted fee is displayed alongside a higher comparison price, the discounted fee is the amount you will be charged.

• You are responsible for any bank charges, transfer fees, or taxes applied by your payment provider.
• Unpaid or partially paid enrolments may be cancelled and the place released to another student.
• Affiliate and referral bonuses are credited only on payments that have cleared and not been refunded.

You may request a full refund within 7 days of your cohort's start date if the training is not the right fit for you. Requests made after that window are assessed case by case.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

• A refunded enrolment ends your access to that cohort's classes, recordings, and community channels.
• Any referral or affiliate bonus paid on a refunded enrolment is reversed.
• If we cancel a cohort outright, you receive a full refund regardless of how much time has passed.

Our classes and community channels are shared learning spaces. We expect everyone to keep them safe, respectful, and useful.

• No harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or personal attacks.
• No spam, unsolicited promotion, or recruitment of other students into unrelated schemes.
• Do not record, redistribute, or resell class sessions, recordings, or materials.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the Platform or other accounts.
• Submitted project work must be your own, with any third-party code or assets properly credited.

All course materials, recordings, slides, and exercises remain the intellectual property of ASKA Academy or its trainers. Your enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning.

You keep ownership of the projects and code you create. By sharing work in a class or community channel, you allow us to display it for teaching purposes and, where you agree, as a showcase.

Certificates are issued on completion of a cohort, including its attendance requirements and final project. A certificate records your completion of the training; it is not a warranty of employment or of any particular outcome.

We may revoke a certificate obtained through plagiarism, impersonation, or other dishonesty.

We collect the details you give us at registration, your enrolment and attendance records, and the payment references needed to confirm your fees. We use them to deliver your training, keep your account secure, and contact you about your cohort.

We do not sell your personal data. You can update your profile, or ask us to delete your account, from your account settings at any time.

Our Privacy Policy sets out in full what we collect and why, and our Cookie Policy covers the cookies the Platform sets. Both are linked at the foot of this page.

We work to keep the Platform available and the live sessions running to schedule, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access — outages, maintenance, and third-party failures happen.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the fees you paid for the cohort the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost income or lost opportunities.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, particularly the acceptable use rules. Where the breach is serious, we may do so without a refund.

You can close your account at any time from your account settings. Closing your account ends your access to any cohort you are enrolled in.

We may update these terms as the Platform evolves. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page, and material changes will be communicated to enrolled students.

Continuing to use the Platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.
